Placement and setting our future professionals (students) & graduates up for success is a huge part of the education at Paul Mitchell The School Dallas. In addition to providing every opportunity for advanced education and well-rounded education experiences for each of our future professionals we provide a placement leader to lead in career coaching sessions, resume & interview tips and networking assistance.

As with everything, you only get as much out of the experience as you put into it. 

Stormie Placke & Daniela Wilkes graduated from Paul Mitchell The School Dallas in August of 2010. Both Daniela and Stormie attended our evening school cosmetology program. 

Both women came into the program with big dreams and high hopes for the journey they were about to embark on. This passion and excitement never ceased as they progressed through the 18-month cosmetology program. 

They both actively participated in the student-run programs offered at PMTS Dallas.  Student run programs are clubs that are designed to give students advanced experiences and education to help prepare them for becoming a beauty professional. They were active in design team, take home team, student council and the John Paul pet club.  These teams gave them extra experience and trainings from salon owners, work at fashion shows and photo shoots, advanced merchandising, business and product knowledge education as well as leading their fellow future professionals (students) for pow-wow’s (school wide meetings) & graduation ceremonies. 

In school they were also given the opportunity to attend, receive advanced education and work at beauty professional hair shows that included Paul Mitchell Schools Caper Hair Show, Orlando Premiere Hair Show & John Paul Mitchell Systems the Gathering. 

Daniela also had the incredible opportunity to assist backstage at the What’s Next Event in Chicago with John Paul Mitchell Systems Artistic Director, Stephanie Kocielski and John Paul Mitchell Systems Global Artistic Director, Robert Cromeans. 

Daniela and Stormie put their hearts into their education and took advantage of every opportunity presented to them while in school. So, armed with many advanced experiences while in school and since both Daniela and Stormie are of like mind and equally ambitious they decided to open Kulture, A Paul Mitchell Signature Salon just after graduating from Paul Mitchell The School Dallas. 

We are so excited for both Stormie and Daniela and cannot wait to see the great things they accomplish with their salon.
